Soytaş Holding A.Ş. tarafından Ocak 1982 yılında İstanbul merkezli olarak kurulmuştur. Soytaş Holding A.Ş.’nin bir iştiraki olarak, gruba ait Foça’da bulunan arazi üzerindeki tatil tesisinin mülkiyet şirketidir. Kuruluştaki unvanı Fotaş Yenifoça Tatil Köyleri Anonim Şirketi iken faaliyet alanlarının genişlemesiyle birlikte genel kurul kararı ile Fotaş Turizm ve Tarım Gıda Hayvancılık Enerji A.Ş. unvanını almıştır.
Şimdiki adı Sunset Mavi Foça tatil tesisinin bulunduğu yer, Ege’nin incisi İzmir’in kuzey kısmındaki tarihi eski Foça’nın yanındaki yeni Foça diye adlandırılan kıyı boyundadır. Eski taş ve tuğla evleri, daracık ve parke sokakları,tarihi eserleri, taze ve bol çeşitli balık satıcıları ile şirin bir Ege kasabası olan Foça’da Tatil Tesisimiz, İzmir’in 80 Km. kuzeyinde, Eski Foça ile Yeni Foça arasında pırıl pırıl bir koy ve tertemiz havası ile eşsiz bir konumda bulunmaktadır. Eşsiz kumluk kıyıları ve gerisindeki zeytin ağaçları ile örtülü sırtları, doğal ve tarihi güzellikleri ile Ege’nin görülmeye değer bir yöresidir.
